The Owen Cripps Story
Owen Cripps started his business in
1972 from a small garage in Sydney’s Randwick, as a distributor of
stick-tape products for Sellotape.

Almost 30 years later this family run business has expanded to a large
warehouse/office in Alexandria, supplying packaging materials to some of
Australia’s biggest companies.
When Owen died in 1984 the business was taken over by his widow, Mary, and
her eldest son, Bevan. Tom, the youngest member of the Cripps’ family,
joined the business after he completed his business studies in 1993 and
the three have successfully established a thriving business, earning a
reputation for reliability, efficiency and value for money.
The expansion to warehouse premises in Alexandria in 1999, centrally
located to Mascot and close to Sydney’s major road and motorway hub, has
allowed Owen Cripps & Co to service all of the Sydney metro area with same
day service if required.
While the business has expanded to cater for the needs of more than 2000
diverse customers across the nation, the Cripps clan manage to provide a
personal and friendly service to their clients.
“We are experienced enough to cater for the needs of our biggest clients
but small enough to pay personal attention to individual detail, “ Bevan
said.
“Some of our clients, Buckle and Company and Barnardos Australia , have
been with us since my Dad started the business. And many others have been
with us for more than 20 years.”
